collaborate with your team read more here 🚀 we’ve released a fairly major update to our underlying analytics system, which should reuse some indexed data to make the app load faster and should improve general performance december 2024 ✅ we’re building out our task management and automated actions system this is a fairly major upgrade, so we don’t anticipate releasing it until january november 2024 🔑 role based access control (rbac) is now available this means that you can add users to your account while only giving them access to certain brands or data rbac is important for many businesses such as agencies or multi brand businesses who do not want all users to access all brands additionally, this feature introduces roles to the user system, meaning you can create some users as admins and others as view only users 🤖 our new ai analysis assistant has been released for ads to coupon & discount sites this will automatically navigate through the website to uncover the affiliate details of these sites the assistant is still experimental, so does not always find a code the first time, and gets particularly lost when the coupon site does not actually have any affiliate details to find (i e those which push users to install a browser extension instead) 💰 we released the “coupon and discount ads” report to help you identify coupon sites who are bidding on keywords that they should be not october 2024 📊 we’re testing our looker studio (aka data studio) connector and hope to release this in november contact us if you would like to test & feedback on the early version 💸 we’ve built an ai powered crawler that will identify brand bidders running coupon sites, and automatically extract their affiliate details 🕷 the crawler is now more reliably detecting a wide range of hijackers in the uk and us 🔬 we’ve made some behind the scenes improvements to the ad analysis platform to extract affiliate details from non hijacking brand bidders (such as coupon sites) 🧪 improved the ad analysis interface to better highlight the extracted affiliate parameters and hide less important details 🪰 fixed a bug in the crawler that was causing some keywords to be searched more than they should have been this resulted in a slight decrease in trends for us tracked keywords september 2024 📰 the affiliate details screen and exports now contain a sample ad so that you can quickly understand the messaging that is being used 🕷 a new crawling strategy was rolled out in early september that improved the amount of ads seen for some brands 🧑🎨 many design and usability improvements to make your life easier redesigned app landing page (where you select a brand) improved and reorganised brand dashboard screen reworked ad analysis results page to better highlight the most important information 🌴 alec spent two weeks soaking up the sun (and rain) in costa rica 🍕 andy took some time off in sicily 👨 our newest team member, matt, joined the team to help us take marcode to the world august 2024 📧 we rolled out an improved notification system and two new types of emails instant notifications and periodic summaries we will expand this to finally include slack and teams notifications in q4 🔬 drastically improved ad analysis system we are still able to extract 100% of affiliate details from hijackers, but now we have the tools to extract affiliate details from non hijacking brand bidders (i e discount sites) 💁 we rolled out this new help centre to replace the old & underutilised live chat 💰 we’re currently beta testing a way to see what discounts and sales your competitors are running, and identify how they are enticing your customers away this will launch to most customers later in the year … that’s all! we moved to this system in mid august 2024, so older updates are documented elsewhere
