the results quick start go to coupons in the left sidebar, then click configure coupon code monitoring under the coupon codes section click bulk add and paste your codes, one per line toggle alert me for every new site if you want notifications click add codes — you'll see a confirmation at the top of the screen view results under monitored coupon codes in the left sidebar why monitor coupon codes? browser extensions and coupon sites regularly surface discount codes to millions of users at checkout — some legitimately, some not without visibility, you can't tell which of your codes are circulating, whether internal codes have leaked, or which extensions are using your codes to silently claim affiliate commission coupon code monitoring lets you track codes you care about — see exactly which coupon sites and browser extensions are surfacing each code catch leaks early — spot internal or restricted codes that have escaped into the wild get alerted automatically — receive a notification the first time a monitored code appears on a new site getting started navigate to coupon management click coupons (the tag icon) in the left sidebar under coupon codes in the left sidebar, click configure coupon code monitoring you'll land on the coupon management page it has two tabs monitored codes — the codes you've explicitly added for tracking, with alert toggles for each coupon patterns — rule based patterns that match multiple codes at once (e g any code starting with "vip") the monitored codes tab this lists every code you're actively tracking each row shows the coupon code and a toggle under alert me for every new site there's also a delete icon on the right to remove a code from monitoring you can manage who receives coupon alerts at the top of the page — click the + icon next to the existing recipients to add team members the coupon patterns tab patterns give you broader coverage without adding every individual code for example, a pattern matching any code containing your brand name will catch variants you haven't thought to add manually this is useful if you run frequent campaigns with different codes adding codes to monitor add a single code in the monitored codes tab, click + add code enter the code toggle alert me for every new site if needed save bulk add multiple codes if you have several codes to add click bulk add in the text area, enter one code per line — for example save20 vip50 newcustomer30 toggle alert me for every new site to apply alerts to all codes in this batch click add codes a green confirmation at the top of the screen tells you how many codes were added (e g "2 coupon codes added to monitoring") the new codes appear in the monitored codes list immediately the alert me for every new site toggle in bulk add applies to all codes you're adding in that batch you can change alert settings for individual codes afterwards using the toggle on each row viewing monitored code results once codes are being tracked, marcode shows you where they've been found navigate to monitored coupon codes under coupon codes in the left sidebar each row in the table shows a code that has been detected on at least one coupon site or browser extension the columns are code — the exact coupon code being tracked extension / site — the coupon sites and browser extensions surfacing this code, along with the offer description (e g "score 10% off with coupon"), first seen and last seen dates, and extension icons for each source where there are more than a few extensions, you'll see a count like "+ 16 more extensions " domain — which of your domains the code has been applied to (e g yourbrand com , yourbrand com au ) what to look for codes on unexpected domains — a code intended for one market appearing on another suggests it's being broadly distributed by extensions, not just by the intended channel high extension counts — codes appearing across many extensions have wide distribution and are harder to contain the domain column is particularly useful for multi market brands if a code intended for your uk site is surfacing on your us or australian domain, that code has been picked up by extensions operating globally viewing all discovered codes the monitored coupon codes page only shows codes you've explicitly added marcode also discovers codes it hasn't been asked to track — every discount code found across the coupon sites and extensions it monitors for your brand to see the full picture, click all coupon codes under coupon codes in the left sidebar this opens the coupon site & extension discount codes page, which lists every code marcode has detected, whether or not you're monitoring it you can filter by category using the all coupons dropdown at the top of the table the columns are the same as monitored coupon codes code , extension / site , and domain what to look for codes you don't recognise — coupon sites sometimes fabricate codes to generate clicks and drop affiliate cookies, even when the code doesn't work at checkout internal or restricted codes — anything that was meant to stay private shows up here before you'd know to add it to monitoring expired codes still in circulation — these frustrate customers and indicate you don't have visibility into what extensions are showing at checkout the coupons dashboard for a high level view of the coupon landscape, go to dashboard under coupons in the left sidebar the dashboard shows summary stats — total coupon codes detected, number of extensions seen, and how many extensions are adding affiliate details to your codes coupons by category — a breakdown of codes by type (e g sitewide codes, affiliate codes, brand codes, new customer codes) top extensions adding affiliate details — ranked by how many affiliates they're injecting, showing the extension name, user count, rating, number of affiliates, and number of coupons extensions adding affiliate details alongside coupons are a serious problem when an extension injects affiliate tracking alongside a coupon code, it's claiming commission on a sale the affiliate had nothing to do with extensions like coupert, norton coupons, cently, karma, and couponbirds are common examples the "extensions adding affiliate details" stat on the dashboard tells you how widespread this is for your brand recommended setup add all currently active codes any codes live on your site, in email campaigns, or shared with partners add restricted or internal codes codes that should not be public, so you know the moment they surface add influencer or exclusive codes any codes that are being used to attribute sales should be tracked enable alerts for high value and restricted codes you want to know immediately if these appear somewhere unexpected review the all coupon codes page weekly look for codes you don't recognise and codes showing up on domains they shouldn't be on use the dashboard to track extension activity if the number of extensions adding affiliate details is growing, that's a signal to investigate further common questions "the code i added isn't appearing in monitored coupon codes — is something wrong?" no monitored coupon codes only shows codes marcode has actually detected on coupon sites or extensions if a code hasn't been found yet, it won't appear until it's spotted during a scan "what's the difference between monitored coupon codes and all coupon codes?" monitored coupon codes shows results only for codes you've added all coupon codes shows every code marcode has found for your brand — including codes you've never added to monitoring check all coupon codes regularly to catch codes you didn't know were circulating "which codes should i add first?" start with any codes currently active on your site and any internal or restricted codes that should not be public these are the ones most likely to give you useful results quickly "can i monitor codes across multiple markets?" marcode tracks codes across all domains associated with your brand if a code intended for one market appears on another domain, you'll see it in the domain column "what should i do if i find an unauthorised code?" first, check whether extensions surfacing it are also adding affiliate details — if they are, affiliates may be claiming commission through it use to set up an automated enforcement response "what are coupon patterns and should i use them?" coupon patterns let you track codes matching a rule rather than a specific code — useful if you run lots of campaigns start with individual codes first to get the basics working, then add patterns if you find you're missing variants what to do next — learn how coupon sites commit fraud and what your options are for enforcement — configure who receives notifications when monitored codes appear on new sites — set up automated sequences to deal with affiliates and extensions found through coupon monitoring
